I am super picky when it comes to coats so when I find one I love I have to share! This one in particular is screaming "where me to ALL the holiday parties!" The dramatic hood, the tapered waste, the flare at the bottom, the whole silhouette is romantic and almost a bit of a wintery Narnia look, am I right? The best part (cause you know I LOVE a good deal) it's on SALE!!! Click on the links down below!
Holt is officially half a year old and every milestone is so bittersweet because I just want to bottle every moment up and make it last forever! He is way more interactive nowadays. Making the cutest baby language of his own. He knows familiar faces and is definitely getting more shy around people he doesn't know. He is really close to sitting up and rolling over, but no thanks to me! It's all my Mom and Richard's fault! I say "stop encouraging him! I'm not ready to have a mobile baby!" lol of course I tease and will love every accomplishment but maybe he could hold off a little while! He is eating way more of a variety of foods now like sweet potatoes, greek yogurt, baby rice cereal, avocados, bananas, and winter squash. And he is eating twice a day for lunch and dinner. He is taking just two naps now, with an occasional third nap around dinner time when he needs it. He still wakes up once a night, but mostly cause this mama has a hard time letting him cry, especially when he has the potential for waking up the whole house! But all in all he is one happy and healthy sweet baby and we all love hime to pieces!
Holt is wearing a super duper cute GIRL coat, that I didn't realize was a girl coat until it came and it had a pink inside liner and the bands around the wrist and tie around the middle were gold sparkled. lol Oh well it's still super cute on him and you can't really tell!
I really love this look with this sweater from Romwe! The knit pattern is so cute and I love the lattice on the back as well! The leopard coat I have had a couple years now but I found a similar one here.
You may or may not know that the Sephora VIB sale is going on right now. But if you are a beauty junky such as myself, you probably are well aware. This sale only happens once a year and its for VIB members only (those who spend a certain dollar amount per year). VIB members get 20% off, in store and online for a limited time. So whether you are a VIB member or not I thought it would be a good idea to share what I have in my cart. Especially with the upcoming Christmas season approaching. Whether shopping for others or needing ideas for your own wish lists!
2. Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask I LOVE this mask. I actually don't even think of it as a "mask", more of an every night cream. It totally keeps my skin sane through the crazy dry winter months.
5. Bamboo Charcoal Detoxifying Soap Bar I have been using this cleanser at night for a few weeks and am totally loving it. It washes off all my makeup, without leaving my skin totally stripped. Plus I feel like it totally exfoliates! Will definitely keep this stocked in our house!
6. Make up forever lipstick I love a good pink lip color, you really can't go wrong with any skin color. And this formula is so good!
I definitely have my go to looks this time of year. Which, don't we all? For this Look I am sharing an all time favorite, the "sweater dress and booties" look. It's fun to show a little skin and get out of a pair of pants. A dress is a one and done type of thing, and that is a beautiful thing for this busy mama. Plus it looks like I'm a bit fancy. This dress just happens to have the perfect amount of detail and the length is not too long or too short. The booties with this look, I have been wearing continuously and can't seem to get enough! Hope you are all having a fabulous week! Links below!
First of all let me just say I am writing this blog post right after putting the kids to bed. (which is normally when I do my posts) And coming downstairs Richard made me the coziest spot on the chaise lounge part of our couch, right next to our first fire of the season. So now I am just cozy as a bug, sipping on a glass of cabernet and thoroughly enjoying a little "adulting" time. We shot this blog look earlier in the day and I have to say I am LOVING this look. Of course how could I not with Stella telling me all day that she "wuvs" my pink top!
I have been wanting a few sweater tops that have cute details, that make them unique, but with a price tag that won't break the bank. So when I saw this top and the crazy good cost, I snatched it up! Isn't it the cutest?
